MY STORY WITH LEATHER
My story with leather began long before I understood design. Growing up, leather was always part of my culture something I saw, heard about, and admired from a distance. I remember my father using traditional Hausa leather cushions, and even as a child, there was something timeless about them. They carried heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet beauty, though at the time, I never truly understood the process behind them.
— THE FOUNDER
Vesk Casalor keeps the last step at home.
CRAFT ROOTED IN ANCESTRY
Every pair is lasted by hand in Kano, the same way Hausa leatherwork has been made for generations. Nothing is moulded in bulk. The skin decides where the pattern falls, so no two pieces carry the same marking.
DESIGN WITH RESTRAINT
Clean lines, unlogo'd hardware, colour drawn from the hide itself. The collection is built to sit under a white kaftan or a dark suit without announcing itself.
WALKING FORWARD
Finished in Nigeria. Worn anywhere.
